Founded in the Fall of 1989 by Freshman roommates Jen Schoonover and Ly Wilder, the Dynamics are the oldest co-ed a cappella group at Muhlenberg College located in Allentown, Pennsylvania.  They sing a variety of songs ranging from alternative music to radio hits - a list of their current repertoire can be found on their home page.  

       Their first performance was in Muhlenberg College's Empie Theatre on December 3, 1989 for a benefit concert called "A Night for Spiros".  Their second performance was a spring concert on April 19, 1990 in the Recital Hall. In 1994, the Dynamics won the President's Award for best student organization. In 1998, the group performed in Rockefeller Center for the college's 150th Anniversary.  In 2012, the Dynamics qualified to compete in the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella, and in 2013 the Dynamics made their iTunes debut with their album "Motion To Vote".  In 2014, they celebrated their 25th Anniversary with the release of their album, "Quarter Life Crisis", and in December of 2018, the group opened for the New York City Rockettes' Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall.  Additional Dynamics discography includes "Rain Check" (2016), "Grandpa Spaceshuttle" (2010), "Sound Beyond Sight" (2008), "Charged" (2006), "Circle in the Sand" (2003), "Under the Full Moonlight" (1999), "Off Conspiring" (1997), and "Dream About It" (1996).
